Motegrity (prucalopride) Indications

Motegrity, generic name prucalopride succinate, is an oral prescription medication used to treat adults with chronic idiopathic constipation. Motegrity is used to relieve the infrequency of bowel movements.

Motegrity is classified as a serotonin-4 receptor agonist, which acts as a gastrointestinal prokinetic agent that stimulates peristalsis in the intestine resulting in an increase in bowel movements.
