Frequent questions about ordering from Maple Leaf Meds a Canadian Online Pharmacy
1. What are your hours of operation?
Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 8:00pm PST
Saturday to Sunday: 7:00am – 5:00pm PST
2. What areas do Maple Leaf Meds service?
We can ship medication to Canada, the United States, and Puerto Rico.
3. Can I place an order without a prescription?
No, we need a valid prescription from a physician who is licensed to practice and prescribe medicine in Canada or the United States.
4. Can I use a prescription from a local pharmacy?
Unfortunately, our contracted Canadian pharmacy cannot transfer prescriptions from other pharmacies located outside of Canada. To place an order for prescription drugs, we require a valid prescription from a licensed physician faxed or mailed to us.
5. Are the drugs on Maple Leaf Meds the same quality of medication that I can buy at home?
While some medication may have a different name or appearance from the medication available at your local pharmacy, the active ingredients in generic drugs (the contents that make the drug work) are the same. Trade names for drugs are registered by manufacturers and even if produced by the same manufacturer, trade names often differ for marketing purposes. We only offer brand name and generic medications that undergo rigorous quality tests and pass exceptionally high manufacturing standards.
6. Why are generic drugs less expensive?
New brand-name drugs are developed under a patent, which gives a company the sole right to sell the drug during the patent period (usually around 20 years). During this time, a drug company charges more for a brand-name drug to recuperate the development costs such as research, marketing and promotion. When the patent expires, other manufacturers can begin to produce and sell generic versions of the brand-name drug.
Since manufacturers of generic drugs don’t have the same research and development costs, they can afford to sell their product at substantial discounts. Also, with more products in the market, there is more competition, which keeps the prices down.
7. I’m having some negative reactions with my medication. Is there someone that can help me?
If the reactions are severe, please contact your local emergency service provider. Our Pharmacy Helpline would be happy to assist you with any medication-related issues at our toll-free number 1-855-218-5085.
The pharmacy can only supply as much medication as your physician prescribes for you, according to the directions, and up to maximum of a three months at a time.
10. How should I ask my doctor to fill out my prescriptions?
When your doctor is writing your prescription, ask for a 3 month prescription with 3 refills, which would be valid for a year’s worth of medication.
11. Do you list all medications on the website?
No. We carry a much broader selection of prescription medications than those listed. If you don’t see the drug you are looking for please call our office at our toll-free number, 1-800-998-4016.
12. Why do I have to fill in so much information?
The forms help us understand your medical background and conditions in the interest of your safety. Similar to any other pharmacy, our pharmacists and physicians use the provided information to assess your prescription and potential drug interactions. If necessary, our Customer Care Specialists may contact your physician for further information for clarification.
13. Why do drug prices change constantly?
The market prices, manufacturer prices, and exchange rates are constantly in flux, which affects the prices of the drugs we offer.
14. How can I check on the status of my order?
Your order status can be found once you log into your Maple Leaf Meds account. We are available 7 days a week at 1-800-998-4016 to answer any questions, or if you need help navigating your account.
15. How do you guarantee the safety of my personal information?
The private information we receive through the Maple Leaf Meds web server is encrypted using the latest TLS 1.2 technology, secured by a true GeoTrust SSL Certificate using RSA-2048 encryption.
All Maple Leaf Meds servers are protected by multiple firewalls and have access privileges that isolate them from each other and prevents further access into other systems. To confirm your order, please give us a call 2 hours after you submit your order at 1-800-998-4016 for verbal confirmation. For every order, we require a verbal confirmation, so if we don’t hear from you, we will contact you within 3 business days.

19. If I no longer need my medication, can I return them?
Unfortunately, we are under the same restrictions are as brick-and-mortar pharmacies, as we are bound by the same pharmaceutical laws. In the interest of the safety of all parties, once a prescription or non-prescription drug has been dispensed, it cannot be returned for any reason. Keeping in mind public safety, please use proper drug disposal methods for all unused drugs.
20. Do you only sell Canadian drugs or do you sell from other countries as well?
The drug approval system in Canada is as restrictive as the system in the United States, which is why Canadian online pharmacies are the best source for quality prescription medication. We are only affiliated with pharmacies and dispensing facilities that our licensed physician has personally picked and are certified by CIPA and PharmacyChecker.com.
