About EntrestoEntresto

Entresto is a combination drug which contains two active chemical substances: Sacubitril, a type of neprilysin inhibitor, and Valsartan, a type of angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It is a popular angiotensin receptor neprilysin inhibitor. It is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of adults with a history of long-term heart failure. The blend of primary ingredients helps relax blood vessels and ensure easy blood flow. This facilitates your heart in pumping blood throughout your blood.

Common indications of Entresto include a risk of fatal heart failure, symptoms of chronic heart failure (NYHA Class II-IV) and reduced ejection fraction. Entresto is used as an alternative medication to replace ACE inhibitor during heart failure treatment.
