What is Rexulti? 

Rexulti, with the generic name brexpiprazole, is an oral medication used to treat schizophrenia and major depressive disorder (MDD) along with other antidepressants. This drug helps an individual feel less nervous, think more clearly, and function well in everyday life. It also decreases episodes of hallucination. 

This atypical antipsychotic works by regulating chemicals in the brain, including serotonin and dopamine. It blocks certain receptors of neurotransmitters, thus averting psychosis. This is available in 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 2 mg, 3 mg and 4 mg tablet forms. 

How to use Rexulti 

To start, read the medication information leaflet that comes with this drug. Do not take this oral medication if you have not fully understood all information and instructions on the guide.
