Description

What is Trintellix?

Trintellix, with the generic name vortioxetine, is an oral medication indicated among adults who have a major depressive disorder (MDD). It also helps improve one’s mood, appetite, sleep, and energy level. Thus, restoring interest in everyday life.

This selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) works by simultaneously modulating one or more serotonin receptors and inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin. It restores the balance of this specific neurotransmitter in the brain. This is available in Trintellix 20 mg, 10 mg, and 5 mg immediate-release tablets.
