What is Besivance used for?

Besivance, with the generic name besifloxacin, is an ophthalmic suspension prescribed for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis brought about by susceptible isolates of certain bacteria. This eye medication will not work for infections caused by fungi, viruses, and mycobacteria. This is classified as a quinolone antimicrobial.
