How does Maple Leaf Meds help me save money on prescriptions?

Maple Leaf Meds is an online Canadian pharmacy prescription service which helps you order your prescription medications from Canada at a reduced rate. Since prices on brand-name medications are regulated by Canadian Health authorities, prices are low and never rise above the rate of inflation.

You can save money by ordering your medications from Canada today. To get started, simply check our low prices on prescriptions and compare them to the prices you pay at your local retail pharmacy. Like any pharmacy, we require a valid prescription from your doctor.

What currency are your prices displayed in?

All of our prices are displayed in US Dollars.

Why are your prices so low?

A. Our prescription pricing is often lower than drug prices at your local pharmacy for several reasons. The first reason is we are partnered with a discount pharmacy. Additionally, the Canadian government utilizes price controls on pharmaceuticals and caps subsequent price increases based on the rate of inflation. To learn more, read our summary of why Canadian drug prices are so low.

What type of quality control do Canadian medications have?

Health Canada sets some of the strictest manufacturing guidelines and requirements in the world for pharmaceutical manufacturing. Generic medications are also manufactured under the same stringent guidelines.

All Canadian medications sold in Canada have been evaluated and approved for use by Health Canada's Therapeutic Products Directorate (TPD). Prior to being given market authorization, a manufacturer must present substantive scientific evidence of a product's safety, efficacy and quality as required by the Canadian Food and Drugs Act and Regulations.

Why do some medications have different names in Canada?

In Canada, some manufacturers may use a different name for the exact same drug. In some cases the drug may even look different but it is the same drug with the same active ingredients.

Does Maple Leaf Meds fill pet prescriptions?

Yes. For more information, please visit the Pet Medication section of our web site.

Are you able to ship narcotics or controlled substances?

No. Maple Leaf Meds does not ship or allow any of our customers to order controlled substances or narcotics.

Are there any special requirements for ordering products containing pseudoephedrine?

Maple Leaf Meds requires a valid prescription for products containing pseudoephedrine.

Maple Leaf Meds requires a clear and legible copy (by fax, mail, or email) of one piece of valid photo-identification to keep on file for each customer ordering products containing pseudoephedrine.

Maple Leaf Meds customers cannot purchase more than 7.5 grams of pseudoephedrine per month unless the customer’s doctor has provided a prescription authorizing a greater quantity. (90 day supply maximum)
